Outlying Field at Brewton, Ala. ,1960

NAAS Whiting Field

This photograph was made at the Navy's outlying field at Brewton, Ala. I have been told that this field, along with others, are now closed. It shows a student pilot doing touch and go landings. Brewton was around thirty miles north of NAAS Whiting field, at Milton, FL.

The sailors working here came from NAAS Whiting Field.

The printing on the guys shirt tail said his last name was Santos. It can still be read from the sharp negative.

Made with a personal camera.
