Rhode Island

I was attached to Destroyer Developement Two, as a photographers mate from July of 1961 until the end of September of 1962. I walked past pier one, and two, almost every day, and often took my personal camera with me to photograph the ships.

I was an ICFN on board the Yosemite in January 1960 for three weeks waiting for the Glennon DD-840 to return from Gitmo and visited a few times for Glennon equipment repair.

I was on the YoYo from September 1958 to August 1960. I was a PN3 working in Ship's Office.

Great photos. My first ship was Yosemite, in 1959. Went on to Hale (DD-642), then Glennon (DD-840). Brings back a lot of memories.
