Polly Cope, from my first ever model shoot in 1959

Smoky MT National Park

I met Polly when I was just seventeen years old in the fall of 1958. I joined the navy when I was still seventeen in march of 1959, and returned to Tennessee in July on Boot leave. I ask Polly to go with me in a borrowed car to Cades Cove in the Smoky MT. National Park, not far from Knoxville, Tennessee., USA

I had a Rolleicord Va camera, and some verichrome film. This is one of her portraits from this first ever model shoot for me. Polly would be in her seventies today, and I just heard that she only lives a few miles from me. She was the sexiest thing around at that time, or I thought she was. Big dark eyes, and a few freckles. She was from Miser Station, Tennessee, and still lives there.

other sizes: small medium original auto
