I lived in Mannheim Germany from 1964-1967. This gallery is from scanned slides taken during my assignment in Germany.
The Bergstraß Route is a route of Mountains, Castles, and Wine, which runs from Darmstadt down to Heidelberg
and there are numerous castles and vineyards that can be seen during this very scenic trip.
The photos of Bamberg and the Munich Oktoberfest were taken in 1995 during a short visit to Europe.
