We used snowshoes from start (Little River Rd.)....3rd crossing of
Little River is firming up nice Broke trail to N.Twin 6", where we met a
solo hiker who led the way to South...deeper drifts, sun broke through
on South, magnificent BLUE SKY! Dropped down to hut, ate lunch and
soaked in the views. After lunch we dropped packs and ventured to Galehead.
Gale River trail was broken out by a few solo hikers today which made
our descent zoom-zoom. Bushwhack over to Beaver Brook XC has several
remaining old flags which would be difficult to follow in darkness.

Awesome day with the MOAC gang, we adopted Steve @ 7 Dwarfs. Lots of
smiles, handwarmers, and funny tales along the way. :) Many thanks to
Nico, Gerry, Foster & Steve...we missed you Victoria! Departed Little
River Rd 710a arrived Beaver Brook 510p. Approximately 15 miles with
3,700' elevation gain.
