This strong group of hikers headed out at 7:30am and faced challenges that included bushwhacking, finding the trail, breaking trail, finding the new official peak and hiking for 16 miles. Victoria and Michael used map and compass as others joined in to assist in finding the trail to lead to the peak. This was a great group that worked as a team, took turns breaking trail, and kept an upbeat positive attitude throughout. The rewards for all the effort included warm temperatures, singing birds, great conversation, a gentle snow fall at the end of the day, some awesome butt sliding and a moonlit walk on the way out.
