I want to kiss the moon

Buenos Aires, Argentina

The night I took this photo I waited patiently to achieve this frame. While the giant cloud was transforming as it approached the moon, a face and a mouth suddenly appeared in the vast sky. This fantastic scenario, natural and mithological, was happening while the city lights started to shine in the horizon. Inmensity and smallness... all togheter to make this story a dream come true.

Yes! I now can see the face and the mouth at the base of the cloud. Once we see it, we will never forget it. The picture changes for us. It is indeed a good night kiss, a dream come true.

Yes Phil, both opposites and contradictions are a kind of lighthouse in my universe. The night I took this photo I waited patiently to have this frame. While the huge cloud was transforming and "reaching" for the moon, a face and a mouth suddenly appeared in the vast sky. This fantastic, natural and mithological, scenario was happening while the city lights started to appeare in the horizon. Inmensity and smallness... all togheter to make this story a dream come true. Thanks for your always appreciated insights, that reveals the emotions behind a photograph, thanks for helping me to put into words and photographs my emotions.

I see that opposites and contradictions still invigorate your imagery, Marisa. The delicious moon floats in the rich blue dusk, while a swirling cloud of dust lurks just across the frame. All things are transient -- the moon seems a mere morsel, while the cloud is a breath of nature. This image is like a child's bedtime story -- the title is perfect.
