A closeup view of the meticulous stonework that was used in many of the Inca sites. Ordinary structures didn't display this quality, but religious structures and buildings thought to house upper class citizens were very carefully constructed and hand-fitted. These structures are even more remarkable for having withstood numerous earthquakes.
