Dark Alley

Un-freaking believable image! This was shot hand-held down a "dark alley".

I mean it was dark.

I couldn't make out the gate at the far end of the alley, much less the hinges on it.

Nikon has simply reinvented low light photography.

The bright rectangle on the wall was lit from a window on the opposing wall, not in the image.

I had no clue it has iso capability that high! This is truly amazing.

This gives a complete new dimension to night photography; it's much easier this way to catch streetlife.

Amazing! I can't believe that 25,600 ISO could be that good! You said the right word, unbelievable (well, impossible until now). :) What wonderful capabilities. Hey, forget flash! There is enough light out there in the dark. Love it, Mark.

Amazing, it borders on the surreal. The D3 could open up all sorts of artistic expression, from it's high ISO quality.
