Speaking Italian

Today was a beautiful, warm and sunshiny day in San Francisco as evidenced by the number of people walking about at the Embarkadero.
I love San Francisco, and mostly I love it when it's warm.

The Embarcadero is a great place to people-watch on a warm day.

Man, did you attract a lot of attention with that huge lens downtown? :) this is a really nice shot, and he has to be Italian. Well, maybe.

I like it!

A fitting end to the day's shots. Amazing how even at f/8 the DOF is still very shallow.

The 2-figure shot was a gem. You isolated the figures a la 35mm DOF with a wide f-stop. And the fast shutter speed worked for you as well. I hope there wasn't any PS hankypanky. I also like the viril effect of the bridge coming out of the background. The technique you used harks back to film.

Definitely a good choice for your PAD
