Sunshine I

This is one of my Leopard Geckos, Sunshine. She's the only girl that I have right now. Eventually I'll get a fully body picture of her up here; she's absolutely gorgeous. Spots on her head and tail, but not on the body. Definite carrot tail (bright orange from the base to about 40% down the length of it), and some awesome purple coloration as well.

It was a pain trying to get this photo of her - she kept moving JUST out of my DOF or /just/ beyond the area of the light that I was trying to use. I'm trying to get better at using the Macro lense.

Nikon D70
1/50s f/1.0 full exif

other sizes: small medium large original auto

Neat colors, Kasi. Maybe a smaller f-stop and then bump the exposure in PS would help with wiggly subjects.

I like how you put all of the emphasis on the eye. the saying goes that if you get the eye of your subject sharp the image will look good. This proves it true.

The softness works, was that done in editing ?. I like it it has a happy feel about it, relaxed and chilled out.
