San Francisco, CA

A sculpture, "Cupid's Span" by Claes Oldenburg and Coosje van Bruggen, was built in 2003 along the Rincon Park area.
Resembling Cupid's bow and arrow with the arrow implanted in the ground,
the statue symbolizes the place where Tony Bennett "left his heart".

I'm hearing Sam Cooke singing, "Cupid! draw back your bow. . . ."

Two attention-getting subjects. The bit of lit-up mist on the bridge is interesting.

Well done, Mark. I like how you have the main subject so large in the frame. It demands our attention. Nicely composed. That 28-70 is so versatile. I tried for one on ebay but it ended up going for too much.

Perfect exposure. I have not seen it at night like this. It's wonderful. Did you hide the moon behind the bridge so as not to get overexposure on it?

Creative capture of interesting contrasts in shape and texture.

Great doubleplay of lines in the sculpture and the bridge.

Nice one! The sky looks sort of spooky at 10 seconds.

I love all the curves and shapes going on here. The colors are really neat too. I think the sky in the background really makes it.
