This morning, our daughter was told not to report to work because there was a large fire nearby and the school where she teaches would be closed.
Denise and I drove over to have a look and what we found was a four alarm fire at a meat processing facility.

This guys rugged good looks, command of the situation and fatigue are evident in the shot. I'm shooting over the shoulder of an approaching paramedic at whom the Division Chief is looking. I thought about cropping out the distracting flag on the paramedics sleeve but couldn't bring myself to do so. Maybe the image two shots back has something to do with my resistance to erase a flag. It's interesting to me to find where I stop in my photography.
