This is the monastery of the nuns of the Order of Saint Clare. It was founded in 1327 by Queen Elisendra of Montcada. The complex includes the church and monastery, set out around the magnificent cloister with access to the dormitory, the refectory, the chapterhouse, the abbey and the nuns' cells, one of which contains Ferrer Bassa's splendid mural paintings.
