Brinkamahof

Bremerhaven, Germany

Also known as "Weddewarden Unterfeuer" and "Kleiner Roter Sand". This lighthouse was built in 1912 as the most northern lighthouse of Bremerhaven. It was originally located near the Imsum container port; it was deactivated when that port was expanded. In 1980 a large floating crane was used to lift the tower and transport it to the Bootshafen Marina on the other side of Bremerhaven, where it has served as a clubhouse and caretaker's residence.
