Balbriggan

Balbriggan, Ireland

This is Ireland's second oldest active lighthouse, after Hook Head; it was built by a local nobleman, Baron George Hamilton, to promote commercial development of the port. Fingal County Council is working to restore the lighthouse and replace the lantern.
