DISMALAND Bemusement Park

The site was first developed as a 950 square metres (10,200 sq ft) swimming pool in 1937 and included an art deco diving board.
At the time it had the highest diving board and was the largest open air swimming pool in Europe.
Modern Venus Single Piece bathing beauty completion was held at the Tropicana in Weston-super-Mare in 1961.

Thanks for posting this set on a very interesting place. I wanted to visit myself but was unable to do so, but now feel almost as if I had after going through your pictures. I think the humour may be lost with some of the viewers though :-) V
