If all you have is a hammer, every job looks like a nail. My Nikon 5700 takes good macros. So, I tend to look closely at things. These macros are evocative of landscapes to me, thus the title of the gallery.

How did I miss this gallery. Many of these images are sensual, intimate, and exquisite. I'd be hard pressed to choose a favorite, but I was really drawn to "Chaos" and "Explosion". Macroscapes, indeed, a superb titile for a suberb gallery.

Tim,your pictures are very much ALIVE:there is always INTERaction.In settings or contrasts or minute details etc.If it seems that there is nothing to interact with: they interact with MEEEEE!!! Thanks for unusual experience.

I love the theme, but I have to say that my favourites are the ones which are more abstract, that is you can't immediately relate to the familiar object. I also wish you din't self-denigrate with the opening comment about nails. This gallery is a result of your imagination, not the tool. All the best.

All I can say is..WOW! I love this close-up technique letting us get intimate with every subject you shoot! The photo entitled "Pod" is one that comes to mind especally, where we can see the unborn peas within the pod, in shadow is quite initmate in my opinion. The abstract designs that each detail make are quite striking by thenselves, even if we didn't know what the subjects are (but we do!) Thanks so much for letting me know this gallery is here, Tim! Your Macroscapes are magnificent, Tim. While I have seen some of these before, to see them displayed all together is breathtaking. Most photographers take Macros as technical exercise. Yours, however, speak to us of the ways nature, and also of man. They view the world in ways that our own eyes can not.
