Of course I have a copy of this image with the father's face, but this one seemed better. Now that I think about it the faceless presence of the father seems to fill the frame with a feeling of protection.
The juxtaposition of the red glasses, pink mask, and ink jacket, along with the hand clasped over the mouth, makes this image a memorable one. You wisely did not dilute its power by including the face of her father who sits behind her on the motorbike.
I remember all the cyclists protecting their lungs from the poluted air with masks, some masks quite fancy. Here in CA we should start this mask trend as well with our horribly smoky air! Fun shot!
