Now why didn't I see this????? I just have a pretty picture of a gate, but it was a beautiful gate, wasn't it? I agree, however, that the inclusion of this man was a gift that sets this image apart and makes it special.

What a gift that he was walking with his eyes down - and, again, I emphasize that this image is one of many that I made as we were leaving this temple. It was the editing that found it.

Agreeing with Phil's comments, the praying man's face in the lower left identifies this place as a place of worship.

You demonstrate that good pictures are not always found -- they are often made. Your skills at post processing made all the difference here. Without that man framed in that gate, we have a pretty picture of a gate. With that man, we have a story.

Thank you - I knew you would see the center of the image (on the bottom left) I had to work hard in Photoshop processing to make the man seeable, yet real looking.

We had great light on that gate and you made the most of it by building the image around the softly focused man framed within the left hand arch. He seems to be momentarily meditating -- he glows as much as that beautiful gate.
