One of the interesting things to me in all my recent trips to Asia is the presence of Western icons. Santa has found his way to Nanjing and is ready for "delicious food."

I think those words in English are for Santa's benefit. Obviously he doesn't speak Chinese........yet!!

Not only has iconography made the leap from the west to Asia. So have the holidays themselves -- largely for commercial reasons.
