Our journey showed many American influences in China. Each city had KFC's MacDonald, and so on. I was surprised to see this wall decoration of the Statue of Liberty - remembering the history of the Tian'anmen Square uprising.

It's interesting that, in your photo, these guys have passed liberty by and their backs are turned to her. Despite the great economic explosion China is experiencing, the government still remains communistic and repressive.

She seems so small though, only in the background and seems to reach out to these guys for attention. Nice contrast!
