As you drive west out of Death Valley National Park, you drive by the Father Crowley Overlook. I notice what looks like a bullet scar on the plaque commemorating Father Crowley which caused me to think, "One man's saint might be another demon."

The bullet was probably fired at the sculpture by a drunk or a fool (or both) who cared little about what he or she ruined. To me, your image is more a ringing condemnation of ignorance and stupidity, than it is a comment on religious bigotry.
