Once again, an image that becomes even more fascnating when we look at it along with mine and Iris' images. Iris obviously did not have this subject in mind when she made her shot but she did give us a good context for where this old coffee dispenser now lives (http://www.pbase.com/irislm/image/71982597 ) I moved in to get the most out of that decaying painting (http://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/69215409 ) whlle you offer a middle ground -- close enough to see and feel the decay, yet far enough to know it is a coffee dispenser without having to rely on a caption as I did. Once again, each of us comes to the same subject with different intentions in mind.
