Once again, we stood side by side photographing the same wonderful subject, yet each of us come away with a different story because of how we choose to use color. Your colors are very natural, as the eye itself would see it. My colors, because of my choice of cloudy white balance, are darker, warmer, and more vivid. Your image speaks of the grandeur of nature as a soft whisper, while mine (http://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/69217048 ) expresses the scene in mysterious, almost ominous, tonalities. I owe you a debt of gratitude for first noticing the linkage of the cloud and the mesa from afar, and bringing the car the screeching halt so we could share this amazing sight.
