You get an "A" for depth of field! And Phil is right...you shoot color first which just happens to be in the form of an azalea! Is this shot in the botanical gardens in Portland?

Some photographers shoot flowers that happen to be in color. You shoot color that happens to be flowers. An amazing wave of nature's allure.
