I have to agree with both Phil AND Wendy! I love this too! This does remind me of an under water image though with the shadows playing on the cactus fronds.

Incongruous contrasts exist in the works of nature as well as man. This is a remarkable example of it. You integrate the voracious plants and tantalizing feather elegantly through a series of repeating curves. What makes it work is the counter thrust of the feather and its strongly contrasting color and texture. It symbolizes the one constant in the natural world -- the struggle to survive.
