Art and Nature

The Preserve abounds with art. This partial view of a sculpture is near the exit of the main gallery. I though the strip of bark added by nature added to the context of the sculpture.

One of the reasons that I got the new Olympus E-330 is because it is a DSLR with a "live" viewfinder. I tend to use both the eye piece and the lcd - for this shot I think I looked through the eye piece.

A superb composition and a masterful study in different textures and subtle shades. Do you tend to use the screen or the viewfinder for static compositions such as these?
