Reminds me of the distant camel rider gliding over a distant dune in the opening scene of Lawrence of Arabia. Wasn't it Omar Sharif? In any event, you do here what David Lean did there -- present the desert to us at its most expansive and empty best.

The contrast of the light on Badwater with those ominous storm clouds in the distance is magnificant. The two small figures in the middle depict the enormity of both the flats and the impending storm. Beautiful!
