Iris expressed my sentiments better than I could. :)

Liz is always telling me I "shoot up at too many statues" and Nevada Weir made me promise to avoid making pictures of statues altogether, and here you prove that shooting down on a statue may be the ultimate answer. I love this fellow, Tim -- the emerald green is delicious and the vantage point superb -- Buddha takes a bow here, and beautifully.

I, too, love the POV, as well as the tight crop.

I love the tilt of the Buddha's head. He seems a bit shy, yet amused at all the fuss being made over him. The striking color adds to the mystery.

He looks a bit surly from this angle! Interesting how color and angle differences can make a whole different personality!
