The mural girl with the golden eyes and Phil's "LA diva" from the golden state are about hair!!
along with Phil's notation, I am struck by the similarity again in the eyes of both the mural drawing's face and those of the girl. Both are staring right at your lens.
You include several examples of art imitating life in this gallery -- this is one of my favorites. The mural is full of hair, and that seems to be the prime concern of the LA diva who preens before it. The geometric slices that divide the mural into segments symbolize a mathematical equation: the whole is equal to the sum of its parts. Wonderful stuff.
