Wary
Sousse, Tunisia - 2008

I think this one of my favorite all time images - It has taken on a new meaning to me since the Tunisian Revolution of 2011. I feel as if it captures the spirit of discontent that fermented in the nation.

There are a couple of images in your gallery that, in retrospect, foretell future events. This one expresses it most succinctly and powerfully.

I agree with you as well as Rose and Phil. A really strong statement image!

You are right -- this is your strongest image posted so far from our journey to Tunisia in November, 2008. Given what transpired there early this year, this image is prophetic. It is all about revolution, albeit modeled on Cuba in 1959. You can feel smoldering resentment here.
