Ubiquitous
Sousse, Tunisia - 2008

Unbeknownst to you at the time, you created an image imbued with prophetic meaning. What a strange feeling this must provoke as you contemplate the events that have taken place in Tunisia.

The shadow, to me, makes me think of night and change here. The fact that the shadow is exactly disecting the face makes it even more powerful, given in retrospect as what has already now happened.

Seen in retrospect, the shadow becomes ominous, a hint of the exile to come.
