The perfect match between the angle of the wing and the God's ray in the background. Perfect placed and caught. I enjoyed shooting the pelicans and the God's Rays as well. Four days earlier I made the shot that you commented on (http://www.pbase.com/image/128754439 ) a bit later in the day, and well into its dive for food. The comparison shows that there are many different ways to express the beauty and function of birds in flight.
