Correction: my version was shot at exactly 7:00 pm (not 6:00 pm), which was sunset time. Your camera recorded this image as made at 4:10, so it looks like you need to speed up your clock by two hours and fifty minutes.
We both shot this surfer minutes apart, given the position of the sun. Your vertical deepens the image, while my horizontal expands it. This has long been a fairly consistent differences between our framing preferences. You go to vertical more often than I do. There is a calm feeling to this beautiful image. In my own (http://www.pbase.com/pnd1/image/128758326 ) there are two surfers, and both are upright, waiting for a wave, while your single surfer lies on his board, utterly relaxed.
(According to the position of the sun in both of our images, we should have made this shot within minutes of each other, however I just checked the times at which each of us made this shot, and mine was made at 6:00 pm, while your camera records this shot at 4:10 pm. One of our cameras is running a bit slow. Guess which one.)
