Many of the people we saw asked to have their images made. This woman followed me in the morning market posing with the slab of meat in her hand. I finally decided to take her picture because it seems karmic-ally correct to take a picture when asked. I figured I could erase it when I got back to the hotel. But, when I got to the hotel and reviewed my images of the day, I discovered that her friend had decided to play a little trick on her. The result was just too much to pass up.

Like a piece of meat!! Ironic that she's holding up that piece of meat....seems to add a pinch of meaning to the image.

This image works so well because of the context you give it in the caption. It underscores the cultural differences between east and west as well.
