| Within the past few years, I have discovered the Eastern Sierras and have had several trips this beautiful part of California. I became interested in the Owens River which had its water diverted to quench the needs of the Los Angeles Basin. After various court battles, the Owens River is being partially restored. Learning of this led me to think about the other rivers of California and how their health and water so influence the state. I don't think any of the major rivers in the state are without dam. So I decided to give myself the long term project of visiting the rivers and photographing there. |
