A while back I changed from Spectrum cable as an entertainment provider to using ATT over IP. For a while I used my old cheap, cheap, cheap, 24” 1080P TV as a third monitor until I couldn’t stand it anymore.
It was just OK for streaming content and although it took extreme fiddling to make the extended wallpaper match just OK, it was acceptable. The deal breaker was reading small text; previously a non-issue with stand-alone cable TV.

Along with my pair of Benq SW240, I added a $200 Asus ProArt PA248QV (on the right). While it is not 10bit per channel capable or have a full Adobe RGB gamut, it does have a 100% sRGB gamut.
It is calibrated from the factory and one of its many settings is sRGB with a white point of 6500K. The Benq(s) have a white point of 6500K also, although the Asus is a tad warmer.
This is only obvious when splitting screens with a single (255,255,255) pure white shape. Under normal circumstances any difference is inconsequential.

All three of these monitors are the same size (including bezel) IPS 24 inch monitors with a 16x10 aspect (1920x1200px). I suspect the LCD panels are identical and the electronics vary, as the advertised specs are suspiciously similar.

For anyone looking to get a nice inexpensive monitor for graphics/photo editing, I highly recommend this Asus Pro Art PA248QV. I’m very impressed at this price-point.

(FWIW I recently refreshed my offsite backup and with that, my data drive, my nightly backup NAS and my secondary backup drive, I had almost 50TB attached. 35 years ago I wondered how I would ever fill my 30MB HD:)
