This Chart E illustration and its assigned sRGB companion graphic have identical green RGB triads (128,255,0 & 0,255,0) but one has an embedded Adobe RGB profile and the other has an embedded sRGB profile.
The two identified greens in the Adobe RGB image are marginally or completely non-distinctive with the omnipresent low Gamut monitors that most viewers are using.
However they are distinctly different with calibrated high gamut monitors that cover most or all of Adobe RGB. The sRGB image appears somewhat faded and the two greens are very different on all monitors.
Browsers that are Color Management aware (which is most, if not all browsers, as of this 030619 date) will show this difference.
In the unlikely event that the browser is not CM compliant the embedded Adobe RGB graphic will look the same as the sRGB image since all older browsers assumed sRGB color space.
The third graphic is the same Chart E but it has been assigned in Photoshop from Adobe RGB to sRGB colorspace. Note the change in numerical triad .
