This illustrates modest and typical Lateral CA 'twigs-against-the-sky' from the 24-105 wide open at f4.0 and 24mm. Crops are from the edge @ 9 o'clock on the left side and at (almost) far upper right corner on the right. On the bottom under the white line is a 100% section that shows post processing to remove the majority of the fringing. I used a simple Hue/Saturation layer in Photoshop. Important for this discussion, there exists an unmodified in post but down-sampled to 4K and a typical web/1080P version that are outlined in Red and Black inserts.
