I was experimenting with the very simple to use Topaz ReMask and replaced the rocks in the distant background with grass from higher in the picture.

I'm undecided as to whether this is an improvement over a simple crop but it's an interesting experiment with this tool.

Of note is how easily it handled the upper right OOF bolder edge and, of course, the hair strands.
The hair doesn't have a lot of contrast against the dirt, yet were delineated well with default settings.
