Adapting an old bellows unit designed for a film camera to a digital dSLR camera.

Canon FD Auto-Bellows unit with Breech-Lock FD 50mm f1.8 lens attached. A dual shutter/aperture release cable can be seen.

The bellows is attached to a 24MP FF (35mm) sensor Sony a850 dSLR via a FotoDiox adapter that has a detachable 1.4X lens element to allow Canon FD lenses to focus at infinity.
Obviously that is not needed here and the glass element can be removed for an uninterrupted light path.
