The Pennsylvania Railroad ran a siding behind where I stand around the cemetery to the left.
Then the cars reversed direction and crossed the Reading line
on the trestle held up by this support pier and
down to Pencoyd Iron Works a mile or so behind me on the river bank.
Everything but this support was obliterated by the Schuylkill Expressway (I-76)
and the closing of Pencoyd.
