Finish work preparing for the Fall Festival

Ribbon cutting "Celebrating the Gateway to the Trail" will be on Sunday 2012-10-28.

The Friends of the Cynwyd Heritage Trail (FOCHT) and the Lower Merion Historical Society will join elected officials and representatives from SEPTA, PennDOT, Montgomery County and Lower Merion Township to officially open the historic and newly refurbished Cynwyd Train Station at Noon (12 p.m.) that day. A ribbon will also be cut to formally recognize the opening of the station's Trailhead, which completes the 2.5-mile trail in Lower Merion.
