The "New Urbanism" community Jakriborg is built in medieval style using modern materials and modern building techniques. The houses resemble houses in medieval Hanseatic towns, but Jakriborg is not an actual reconstruction of a medieval town. They keep adding houses in the same style to the community. The houses are not for sale, but you can rent them. Jakriborg is situated in Hjärup, between Lund and Malmö, and looked like a ghost town because there weren't any people around although it was very sunny when I visited it. There were lots of cars in the parking lots, so maybe the residents rushed inside when they saw me coming with the camera...
