Staying with close friends in Point Brittany, the wind finally eased, so, we drove down to Fort de Soto Park.
After spending some time in the picnic area across from North Beach, I hiked NW across the sand of North Beach where I spotted a very large group of waterbirds.
This large shorebird flock included lots of Royal Terns; pictured here with Black Skimmers, a few Laughing gulls, a Ring-billed Gull, and two smaller Forster's terns (center/back with all black bills).
