On many of my previous hikes, I've observed lots of fresh water clam shells on the exposed shoreline created by this summer's drought.
Kinda wondered just what was eating so many of these clams. Now I know!
This otter didn't seem to notice or hear me at first and I caught him chomping on what appeared to be a clam.
