Zebra Swallowtail

Bentonville, Virginia

Been more than four years since we visited this beautiful park - Shenandoah River State Park.
On this cool Spring afternoon, my wife and I drove there for some up/down hill hiking - and to see the display of Virginia Bluebells.
Was going after this particular wildflower along the pathway the follows the river.

Nice shot of this great looking butterfly. I saw one during my Florida trip but it never landed.

Nice butterfly, DonC. Looks to be related to our swordtails (Graphium and .Protographium)
