Observed hawking fish from the low branches of an oak tree along the west shoreline of Lake Frederick.
I stotted this kingfisher out my dining room window while having coffee; grabbed my camera and hiked across our ˜common area" to get close enough for a few shots.
This was a close as I dared get without spooking him/her.
