This is one of my very favorite bushes. I've found lots of birds like this plant and righty so. My wife and I spent this Labor Day weekend with Kurt's family in Elkton, Maryland on the Elk River.
My son-in-law refers to it as "The Elk River Riviera" - I like that as it is a very special area. There is a lot for sale that every few years gets clearcut; Staghorn sumac 'springs up' and looks terrific!
